Cedric Brooks

Incredibly important person in the development of reggae, he was yet another musician to have graduated from the legendary Alpha Boys School where he learned to play clarinet, flute and saxophone whilst also studying music theory. He was a musician and recording artist in his own right at Studio One (often with trumpeter David Madden under the name ?Im and David?), playing on dozens of sides in the late 60s and early 70s. He then teamed up with Count Ossie to form the Mystic Revelation of Rastafari and later, after Ossie?s death the Light of Saba.
