Enduring Jamaican DJ partnership, they exploded on the scene with their first releases, ?Rub A Dub Style? and ?Nice Up The Dance? were huge hits for Coxsone Dodd in 1979 and breathed new life in to the old Studio One rhythms ?I?m Just A Girl? and ?Real Rock?. Next they recorded the equally popular ?One Love Jamdown for Tuff Gong and stole the show on stage at the 1981 Reggae Sunsplash. In 1982 they recorded another massive hit, ?Diseases? for Henry ?Junjo? Lawes, the number one producer at the time. Their distinctive look, incorporating Adidas tracksuits was later copied by many hip hop artists, notably Run DMC.
