California's foremost electronic trickster, Kid606, makes his Soul Jazz Records debut on the 'Microsolutions To Megaproblems' sub-label and this follows on from earlier electronic releases from the likes of Kit Clayton, Ammon Contact and Sutekh. This EP has four tracks mixing Electronica/Dancehall/Techno and Dub together along with breakbeat and Disco. Kid606 has released a number of full length studio LPs, remix LPs and singles on labels such as Tigerbeat6 (of which he runs), Fat Cat, Mille Plateaux, Violent Turd and Ipecac. From his infamous reworking of of NWA's 'Straight Out Of Compton' to his foray into minimal techno with 'P.S. I Love You' on the German based label Mille Plateaux, the Kid has consistently defied categorization and continues to do so with 'Do Sheep Dream Of Macrobiotic Humans'
